Smartphones are highly addictive devices that have a significant impact on our children’s mental health by:
The results of a huge study have shown that the younger children are when they are given their first smartphone, the greater the negative impact on their mental health and well-being as a young adult, showed that the younger they got their first smartphone, the worse their mental health is today.
We want to offer a compassionate non judgemental approach and encourage parents to support each-other to hold off on giving their children phones: reducing peer pressure, increasing parent power and giving young people the best chance of thriving.
